Dependant on tide times, you will be able to catch mud crabs by pulling up or putting down crab pots, or simply target the elusive barramundi, threadfin salmon, or so many other species. Once you bring your catch back to the Retreat, our resident chef will prepare an incredible Asian or Indigenous influenced dish.

Travel to Wurrumiyanga, Bathurst Island, where you will join the team at Tiwi Design for a unique Indigenous arts and cultural experience at the local arts centre. Listen to the stories of life and culture on the Tiwi Islands before participating in an exclusive ‘behind-the-scenes’ screen printing workshop, where you can create your own take home souvenir. You will also be given a tour of the local museum and old church which are bursting with culture and history. Damper and tea are included.
